About Colorful

[Buddhism]

The blue light emitted from the Buddha’s hair represents compassion and peace. The yellow light emitted from the Buddha‘s skin represents the middle way. The red light emitted from the Buddha’s muscles represents blessings, achievements, and merit. The white light emitted from the Buddha‘s bones and teeth represents the Dharma nature, purity, and liberation. The orange light emitted from the Buddha’s palms, heels, and lips represents the Dharma, solemnity, and wisdom. The sixth color is a combination of the first five colors. It cannot be seen by the naked eye and represents the truth and true nature of Buddhism.

[The Yellow Emperor‘s Classic of Internal Medicine]

The five elements have five colors, the five internal organs have five elements, the five colors enter the five internal organs, the five elements are gold, wood, water, fire and earth, corresponding to the five colors white, green, black, red and yellow, corresponding to the five internal organs lung, liver, kidney, heart and spleen.“ The five flavors of food: sour, bitter, sweet, spicy and salty.

[Tao Te Ching]

Bright colors dazzle people, loud noises make people lose their hearing, rich food makes people lose their taste, hunting makes people wild and crazy, and rare objects make people behave improperly. Therefore, the saints only seek to fill their stomachs and do not pursue sensory enjoyment, thus abandoning the temptation of material desires and maintaining a stable and contented lifestyle.

[Bible]

The rainbow is widely considered a Christian symbol. It represents God’s covenant with mankind and his promise not to destroy the world with a flood again. The rainbow is a beautiful symbol of God‘s faithfulness, love and grace.—

The Wishing Well is live at https://wish-well.art

Viewers are able to generate their own wish by adding to the artwork. AI then generates imagery that evokes the wish, and the wish is dropped into the well for others to later discover.

The Wishing Well is a multiplayer experience where you can connect to other wishers who have the same sense of longing. Wishes are rewritten by AI so we can see a glimpse into the hopes and dreams of the language model's latent space.
